Specifications, Field Supervision and Test Protocols for Running Tracks and other Athletic Surfaces

Every year running tracks are built with technologies that the owner/operator does not have access to.  Every year running tracks are installed that do not meet the expectations of the owner or the athlete.  There are generally issues of compliance, construction and serviceability that could have been avoided with a good specification, field supervision during construction and testing of the installed surfaces.

The principal of the firm has been involved in the design and building of running tracks since 1981.  There has been a strong principle of working to international standards and achievement of high quality.  Having worked from the chemical formulations through to the physical installations provide unique qualifications.

Trained in Switzerland with regard to building of running tracks with two component full pour polyurethane systems
Capability 2
Development of a unique self propelled laser guided screed that covers the entire width of the running track to provide perfect planarity to the final surface.
Capability 3
Chair of the ASTM F08.23 sub-committee for Tracks and Tennis Courts.  As chair, Rolf Huber took a situation where no standard existed to a Standard ASTM F2157 that is internationally recognized
