This test instrument has been through many years of rigorous engineering development and complies with the ASTM F1292 and CEN En1177 Standards.  This device has been used throughout the world to provide assurance to users of surfaces for protection from injuries.    This device is is used to determine playground surfacing compliance for the CSA Z614 Canadian Playground Standard, ASTM F1487, ASTM F1292, ASTM F1951 Standards from the American Society for Testing Materials and the CEN En1176 and En1177 Standards.  These Standards have been adopted throughout the world.
